Do you believe that all children should have an equal opportunity to learn to swim?
We think so! This means taking part in swimming lessons in the same locations, at the same times and for the same price as any other child. We want to support leisure centres and swimming clubs to make fully inclusive swimming lessons a key part of their timetables. The Swimclusive! project is currently based in Oxfordshire, aims to allow inclusion in the sport of swimming.
We’ve partnered with Down’s Syndrome Oxford to complete some initial research and development. If you are interested in using this model, or our research, in a different part of the UK, please get in touch! We’re always happy to share our research and resources.
